Caught My Duo in Cosplay — Episode 1: Play With Me

Episode 1 of Caught My Duo in Cosplay sets the trap in minutes. Kai, known as Kaiju to his guild, has spent six months of nights gaming with Mochi, a voice in his headset he has never seen. Late raids, trash talk, the same running joke: "Revive me, coward." "Never." What Kai doesn't know is that Mochi is Itsumi, the pink-haired cosplayer whose photos own his daydreams.

Tonight he spills it all to his duo. Tomorrow he drives to San Francisco for the cosplay con, just to see Itsumi. Meet her? He'd lose his mind. He wouldn't say a word, he'd only stare, a guy in a guild hoodie crying in a corner. On the far side of the screen, Itsumi bites her lip. Her biggest fan is her own teammate. She signs off with "See you tomorrow, Kaiju," then quietly lays out a pair of devil horns. The sting lands before the credits.
