Best Adult Short Films This Year: 10 Shows Ranked
The Short Answer: Start With GoLove.ai's Series
What caught me off guard is that the adult short films worth your night this year aren't 20-minute indie shorts at all. They're vertical episodes under 100 seconds that end on a cliffhanger. Then the lead answers your messages.
So start with GoLove.ai's Series (in the app at /app/series). Every series in it is new this year. The first episodes went up on 2026-10-10, and as of 2026-11-05 it runs to 10 series and 60 episodes. All but one of the stars is a GoLove character you can chat with after the episode and ask for new photos and videos of her. The exception is one uncredited lead. On my ranking rule, #1 is The Only Mortal in Heaven: 9 episodes, starring Angel (@luvangel) and Asmodea (@personaldevilish).
- This year's catalogue only. Nothing predates October 2026.
- 60–100-second vertical episodes, made for a phone.
- Chat with the star once the episode ends.
You don't need an account for episodes 1 and 2 of any series, which makes tonight's first cliffhanger free.
All 10 Series, Ranked by Binge Length and Cast
The rule is simple: more episodes ranks higher. If two series have the same episode count, the one with more chattable stars goes first. You can check both numbers in the app yourself. This isn't a quality score, and I won't pretend I measured one. Series that tie on both just sit next to each other.

Why the Top Three Earn Their Spots
On the numbers alone, all three clear the rule. The loglines are where they pull apart.
The Only Mortal in Heaven: nine episodes, two immortals
William gets fired, gets cheated on and dies, all in one night. Now he's the only living man in heaven, and two immortal women want him badly: a sweet angel and a wicked demoness. He needs both of them to survive, and neither one likes to share. Nine episodes makes it the longest arc in the catalogue. Pro: no other show on this list gives you as much story. Con: it's pure fantasy, so don't come looking for anything grounded.
Bitten by Both Sisters: a silver bullet that wounds the hunter
On the train tracks, the hunter Jonah shoots a platinum-haired vampire with silver, and the wound opens on his own chest. One of two vampire sisters killed his brother. Now both of them want him. It ties #3 at seven episodes, but it has two stars, Morrigan and Katarina, so it takes the tiebreak.

My AI Girlfriend: the account belongs to the girl next door
A black box addressed to the girl next door lands on Milo's doormat, and he keeps it. The glasses inside bring his perfect girl to life. The account isn't his, though, and its owner lives one wall away. I'd call this the meta pick. It's a series about an AI girlfriend, and when it ends you can message its star, Lexie, yourself.
Two-star shows suit the chat-after format best. The episode builds the rivalry, and the chat lets you take the side the hero hasn't picked yet.
What a Short Film Can't Do: The Star Texts Back
Picture the end of episode 2 of My AI Girlfriend, the last free one. Four buttons sit under the player:
- Follow Series
- Start Chatting with the cast
- Create Video of the cast
- Create Image of the cast
Characters you can open right now
Tap any of them and the chat starts there
Start chatting with Lexie
The cast list opens Lexie's profile, and her chat is one step further. You can do this without an account. Her first photo is visible, and the next is blurred behind a Sign Up lock (a tease, and it's meant to be one). Memory keeps your chat history, so the next conversation picks up where the last one left off.
Ask her for a new photo
This is the feature I'd sell first. Tap the media button, choose Send Photo and describe the scene in your own words. In about 20–45 seconds a photo of the same Lexie arrives, for 1 Star, and her face and body match her avatar. Big win: it's her, not a lookalike. Letdown: every request costs a Star.
Turn it into a clip
Every photo has a one-tap Generate Video button under it. For 10 Stars, it turns that scene into a ~5-second video of the same character in about a minute. Pro: you don't have to rebuild the scene. Con: it costs ten times what the photo did.
The short version: GoLove.ai puts live voice calls, memory and photos on request in one chat, and its image generator adds 35 realistic poses and 21 outfits. You also get 2 reward stars every day you log in.
No short film does this. The cliffhanger ends, and the lead is one tap away. Browse the cast now and decide whose chat you'd open first.
Direct Your Own Scene With the Same Cast
The third button, Create Video of the cast, opens Generate already set to that character. To swap in someone else, tap the avatar in the top-right. There's also a Presets dropdown. You build the video from visual preset cards, then tap Generate once:
BUILD HER YOUR WAY
Face, voice and personality, all set by you.
- Action or pose, such as 'Hard Doggy Style' or 'Twerk'
- Clothes
- Background
The count is 76 realistic video modes, and 147 across all categories. That's a lot of range for a cast you met in a 90-second episode. A 720p video costs 10 Stars, and you can run 1, 2 or 4 videos at a time at 480p, 720p or 1080p.
Clips in the Feed work the same way. Tap the Remix wand on any of them and the generator opens with that clip's character and settings already loaded. Pro: you never start from a blank form. Con: it all runs on Stars, and a lot of experimenting adds up fast.
What Finishing a Series Actually Costs
20 free episodes: that's episodes 1 and 2 across all 10 series. Here's the rest (prices checked 2026-10, approximate, and they vary by region and promo):
- Free: episodes 1 and 2 of every series, even without an account, plus 2 daily reward Stars.
- Episode 3 onward: a free account needs PRO, and PRO members unlock each further episode with a few Stars. Not every episode is free.
- PRO: about $19.99/month, or about $119.88/year (roughly $9.99/month). It includes 100 Stars every month, all NSFW content, unlimited Feed and image generation.
- Star packs: from about $9.99 for 30 Stars. The general rate is 1 Star per image and 5 Stars per video.
New users also see a limited-time −70% first-subscription offer. GoLove doesn't attach a deadline to it, and I won't invent one. Check the current plans in the app before you pay.
Where should those Stars go? To the 9-episode and 7-episode shows. Each unlock there buys into a longer arc, so you get the most story for what you spend. The 5-episode series are fine, but nothing special on cost.
Who GoLove.ai's Series Are NOT For
I recommend it, just not to everyone. Skip GoLove's Series if you're:
- Wanting it all free. Only episodes 1 and 2 of each series are free.
- After human performers. Every star here is AI-made, so this isn't studio erotica.
- Looking for feature length. Episodes are 60–100-second vertical clips built for phones.
- Hoping for male leads to chat with. GoLove's cast is Female and Trans characters for now.
- Wanting a back catalogue. This one started in October 2026.
There are two things we couldn't confirm. One is how long the weekly release pace will hold. The other is whether the per-episode Star price stays where it is today. Either could change, so check in the app.
Still, if the cliffhanger-then-chat loop is what pulled you in, none of this matters much.

The Pick: Which Series to Start Tonight
Verdict: GoLove.ai Series is the best pick for adult short films this year if you want the story to keep going after the episode. The star is a character you can chat with and ask for new photos and videos of her, right inside that chat.
Pick by mood:
- Longest arc: The Only Mortal in Heaven
- Two rival lovers: Bitten by Both Sisters
- Slow-burn taboo: Therapy With My Stepmom
In fairness to the alternatives, OurDream is worth a look if you mainly want chat, images and video in one subscription, plus a custom character builder. It runs from about $19.99/month, or about $9.99/month on an annual plan (checked 2026-09). But this search is about watching short films and then meeting the star. That's why GoLove is the pick here: its catalogue is the 10 Series.
You can also design your own lead. Describe her in plain text, and in about a minute you'll have a named character with a bio and a portrait. She then shows up in the same generator as the series cast.
Your next step: watch episode 1 of The Only Mortal in Heaven tonight, then build the star you'd cast in episode 10.
